What EXACTLY are Minnesota citizens doing for support?

Someone pleasecexplain this to me like I am five. I listened to parts of a Minnesota public radio program this afternoon, an interview program with people who are involved in action groups in Minnesota.

They talked about how strong their action groups are, how well connected everyone is, the strength of their organizational efforts , and they’ve been working on this since George Floyd protests and etc. So OK, I understand that. Person after person after person talked about the “support” provided to their community.

But I do not understand: what exactly is that “support?” Can someone tell me five things that “support” consists of?

I’m sincere in my question but certainly I’m coming from a skeptical point of view. I simply do not understand, because what I see in media clips are there more volatile situations,, and I don’t know how normal that is in the Twin Cities. I see plenty of clips with neighborhood folks milling about on their street, hanging around suspected or known ICE vehicles whike shouting or harassing ICE officers, blocking ICE bodies and vehicles with their own citizen vehicles etc.

    Is this “ support?”
