Those good long nights of uninterupted sleep that I had enjoyed for a while...well now it seems to be a fleeting thing. I've been waking up way too early again, like 4:30-5am-ish for NO reason. At least my job doesn't suck me dry anymore and I can do it on less sleep. I should really look at my caffeine intake again, but I don't wanna! It's chilly here now in the high desert and coffee is so good in the morning!

She gets into detail here: http://www.drdeborahmd.com/do-your-a...-wake-you-3-am

But I would guess that your blood sugar bottoms out about that time and adrenaline wakes you up. Try a protein snack before bed. Interrupted sleep is a common side effect of menopause.

Peppermint tea is also good for many things... wake up is one!

There's nothing like that wave of BO as that Certain CoWorker walks past your desk...

So we really need a product called VIP Poo?

While the commercials are rather funny and disgusting at the same time, I can't image paying money for this product that someone might see in a handbag or backpack.

When I saw the commercial the first time, I thought it was a joke of some kind, but it is a real product.

It is just some essential oil or perfume in a bottle - not rocket science.

Are people gullible enough to spend big bucks on this?

I got rejected by Mechanical Turk.

I find this strangely hilarious yet depressing.

My boss, who is salaried, leaves early when he has to stay an hour extra to cover for another employee.
Um...am I wrong, or is he technically required to work as many hours as he has to?

Well, if you want to get technical, an exempt employee is not bound to the concept of hours. I would say he is required to complete his responsibilities whether that takes 10 hours a day or 5 hours a day.

What planet are people living on that they think that people in ancient times got government-issued birth certficates?

Honestly, if it was that easy then no one would spend years on genealogy research.
