    Survivor photo to raise money

    http://fox13now.com/2018/02/25/trump...for-donations/

i know we we have some avid Trump supporters here. I get it. Less government, less regulations, less immigration, more deportations, Mexico will pay for the Wall, hate for Obama’s, and less government assistance like food stamps. But instances like these make me physically illl. Using a victims photo to raise money. Not acceptable in my book.

edited to add he was using the photo to solicit money for his campaign.

i know we we have some avid Trump supporters here. I get it. Less government, less regulations, less illegal immigration, more deportations of those entering the country illegaly, Mexico will pay for the Wall, hate for Obama’s policies, and less government assistance like food stamps spending. I made a few edits to your post to more accurately reflect those of us you might refer to as "avid Trump supporters" but might be more accurately called "Conservatives".
I see no harm or disrespect in the story you linked. The hospital visit was covered by virtually all news outlets so the image was widely distributed at the time and the majority of citizens agree with the stated goal of "banning bump stocks and strengthening background checks".
While I agree that it might be considered bad taste, I think most politicking is unsavory.

I prefer my President to meet the ordinary citizen when because of their outstanding achievement due to their hard work and determination they can be recognized by a visit with the Chief Executive. This particular rendition reminds me of a General in the military visiting his wounded. Perhaps the President could have a specific medal designed and prepared to take with him to pin on the children’s pillow as recognition for a job well done catching .223 caliber projectiles. He’s going to be making many more such visits as it seems it’s not the fact that our airspace is being filled up with bullets that’s the problem.....according to him we just need to have additional bullets being shot in the right direction.

I will admit that I don't have a lot of quotes and references and proof, however I know that often victims of crimes need money to pay for medical treatments. It is on their insurance or lack of insurance I believe. While this may not be in good taste, it is also somewhat necessary if you have large medical bills.

Probably someone knows more than me,

Zoe Girl, don’t worry about paying for the medical treatments this girl will likely need for the rest of her life. Being shot is not like cutting your finger. But The Orange One is in the process of ramping up arms sales to other nations. Don’t worry about proliferating violence though, there are restrictions about the countries he sells to not being able to use them against their own people. It’s okay if they kill another country’s people. All the extra revenue will be helpful in making our schools safer. We’ll be able to buy more guns, training for repeling terrorist attacks, bullet proof blankets for kids and such. The world just needs a few million more AR15s and then we will be safe.

i understand your corrections, however my point is the same. He more accurately reflects some conservative views. The budget, not so much. Now talk about gun control, not so much. Grabbing women by the pussy, not so much. However, excusing unsavory behavior is not ok with conservatives when it comes to Democrats. And in the opposite direction as well Funny how that is.
and some people hated Obama because he was him, not because of his policies, just as some hate Trump regardless of his policies. As Fox News reports daily.

Probably someone knows more than me,
he was using the photo to raise money for his own campaign not for the victims.

Oh that is a different thing, but still common. One recent election the biggest issue was roads, meanwhile the one who lost just focused on the transgender identity of his opponent. People cared more about the roads than gender, go figure.

    Starting off the week grumpy,
