One acre is not a huge place when there’s a bunch of trees on it. Included in the grove was one large white oak. It was 1/4 dead. Once it was a nice tree but no longer.

He’s known on our block as “the chainsaw guy” And probably drives the neighbors crazy. I know Jane would be driven mad by the noise. But it is nearly over. There’s another three or four trees to come down By my flower garden but I’m in no hurry for him to take them down because they’re on the northside and don’t block sunlight so they are OK for the time being.
This property was ignored and uncared for for about seven years. The last people who lived here were here only a year and they are nice people, but they liked the wildness of it.
