Those duck face products must be made in Switzerland? They have a Swiss flag on them.

I don’t spend that much money for footwear and I would hate to spend that much without trying them. I’m not sure I trust the “they mold themselves to your feet “thing. But I like a couple of those styles in the baby blue leather.

Looking more closely into it, I find they get mixed reviews. I agree with you that it would be awful to spend so much only to find them uncomfortable. I like European shoes (like Josef Seibel) because they often have generous toe boxes.

Hey I own and wear and pair of those. I'm not hard to fit though, I just wear shoes that are comfortable enough that they aren't destroying my feet and that look nice enough. I like European shoes, to buy American I like San Antonio Shoes.

My husband has become the self-appointed Covid critic. When we walk the nearby rail trail, I get an ongoing angry commentary on who isn't wearing a mask, or isn't wearing it properly, or isn't walking far enough away, etc. I can let it wash over me for awhile, but then I eventually reach a point where I want to frigging kill him and bury his body in the woods beside the trail.

And don’t wear a mask when you do that! Just to spite him!

After listening to hundreds of similar, but traffic-related rants, I finally convinced my beloved that the object of his wrath was on his/her merry way, while I had to listen to ten minutes of blather about it, and I didn't deserve it. He mulled it over, and agreed. I should have spoken up sooner...

We have definitely had our moments where we have wanted to kill each other during this.

Would that make the cause of death COVID-19?

That's a solution I'm completely in accord with!
I once remarked to a married co-worker that the worst thing about being married was that you could never tell your partner to go home. Two houses would solve that.
