I ended up ordering two boxes from Amazon.

I am just putting out of my mind all of the hideous expenses to the earth that is taking place when near daily deliveries come to my house from Amazon anymore. Well I guess I’m keeping the Amazon drivers employed, so that is good.

IL - inexpensive bread bags might serve your purpose too. I'm sure Amazon has them.

Unless you live in a yurt wearing a loincloth, you're bound to be a scourge on the earth. Amazon is my lifeline, and I don't worry about it.

BIPOC =Black, Indigenous, Person of Color. This acronym was on a Pacific Crest Trail FB thread. I had to look up the meaning as I wasn’t “woke”. I do think it is a bit redundant as the last I checked, black and indigenous people were people of color.

I know except to be referred to as a Canadian American. Except great grandmother was born in France and my other great grandparents immigrated from England to New Hampshire. I do recognize my privilege

Same here. Although, I am not much of a shopper.

The common cold is a coronavirus and a cure has never been found for it. It also mutates, as does the flu, which is why a flu vaccine might only be 40% effective, say, in a given season. Please explain to me why a covid-19 vaccine will stop the virus, which is already mutating to make itself more transmissible.

I don’t know, but I’m with you that I’m hearing skeptical voices that a Vaccine will save us all.

There are coronaviruses that dogs get but I don’t understand the science of it and there are vaccines for them.

They have determined that this is a slow mutating virus. That is the only hope we have right now. W hope for a vaccine, organize our lives to protect our vulnerabilities, and/or simply deal with the death and long term damage. The good news is that children do not have the "receptors" to create most of the serious illness. Not sure when in the early teens it changes.
