And a good portion of the violence attributed to them was perpetrated by the same thugs we're watching today--like the off-duty officer breaking store windows somewhere in the Midwest, and the Proud Boys (sic) in Portland.

BLM protesters call out injustice. These Trumpsters are trying to overthrow the democratic process. AND they are egged on by Trump himself who is thumbing his nose at the Constitution for his own personal agenda. And as Tammy and others have said, the response to each side by law enforcement has been shown to be very different.

I don’t think either group can overthrow the government. But that’s not saying they don’t want to. Just protesting to get everyone’s attention. You really don’t think storming the capital to protest is really a coup attempt do you. Maybe your watching to much CNN

I don’t. Nor do I think the US government can be overthrown by a group of protesters in DC. Predictably, people’s outrage here seems to vary by their political position.

For the record, I think political violence is wrong whether you choose to call it a protest, a riot or a coup.
