Wow, and we were in Williamstown too, since that is the next town over. Small world! We spent Sat & Sun night at the HI in North Adams, our first getaway since our Sept 2019 Niagara trip. I feel like NA is always on the verge of moving on up, but then it's one of the first places to get knocked back down when there's a recession or something like covid hits. We are very fond of that little city.
I went to college in the 70's, and it was a depressed milltown. It's so nice that it has gotten so much healthier than it was in those days.
