That sounds good, Happy. I am impressed that you work full-time but still do so much cooking from scratch, especially home-made bread! And here I was bragging to a woman at Market Basket today that I make my own hard-boiled eggs, lol.

Thank you. I really don't think I cook enough. Most is done on the weekends or are easy quick meals before I go to work. The weekend is definitely sourdough bread time, mainly because of the long rise times. Lol.

Tonight’s supper was lime chicken thighs, brown rice and home grown green beans. Very yummy. We haven’t had it in a while.

    Chicken thighs trending on SLF!
Last night we had the last of the chicken thigh/sweet potato/mango curry over jasmine rice. It was really good with the rice and made good use of leftovers.

DH's favorite... I hate them and hate to make them but did for him.... Banana nut pancakes... YUCK! He loves all pancakes and that is what he orders when we go out for breakfast. The only pancakes I like are potato pancakes and an egg pancake my mother used to make with bean soup (cannot find the recipe anywhere). I should be off the hook for a few years now.

Already cooked boneless pork chops from the freezer, with roasted cauliflower and garlic couscous.

Seattle-style hot dogs, or maybe orange chicken. Tomorrow.

Went to the Salt Lick near Austin and had my yearly quota of oak-smoked BBQ brisket, ribs and sausage with all the sides - potato salad, beans and cole slaw.
