We were able to score a walk in booster shot for my husband yesterday. He had appointment for the 20th, but every day counts around here. They are scheduled out about 9 days now, hard to get them. We just lucked out--I walked up a pharmacy in New Hampshire and said did they have any extra and they did! So relieved.
Son's fil is home from hospital and on oxygen and very weak--currently, he is an invalid from having Covid. No idea what recovery will look like. So I was pushing husband to get boosted as soon as possible.
This is the thread where I meant to post about a nice office holiday party. Last year we didn't get one due to covid so I appreciated it more. The big corporate party with hundreds of people was not held again, so it was just our job site and it was low key - a few drinks and a meal. Nice and relaxing.
