Yesterday I got confirmation that some thing I’ve been worried about for more than a year was resolved, and in the way I wanted it to go. It had to do with Flower show judge credentials technicality. While I know I was in the right technically, I wasn’t sure that the powers that be would agree with me. Yay! Now I don’t have to worry about this anymore.

Onto the next worry which is definitely a worry, but it is solvable. With money. Ha ha.

It is draining having a concern cycling through one's thought. Glad it is resolved.

It's called The Worry Wheel. It can keep you up at night.
Glad one of yours was resolved.

Yes, the Worry Wheel. What an apt name as as soon as one is resolved we spin up another! I'm working hard on stopping that behavior. Meditation....hypnosis...some improvement.

Just made a Frick’s Gourmet ham. It was WONDERFUL! I morph ham into so many things. It is fabulous when they are tasty. This was the best ham I have ever had…..

Thanks--I think I made up the name, but it seems to resonate with people I know.

I've been able to keep the 10 lbs. off that I lost last August when we did a month-long fast metabolism diet, even though I still drink beer (just not as much), and still succumb to a little junky food here and there. But at least we are not eating ice cream EVERY night like we did for the first year of the pandemic. Isn't it kind of weird to be saying "the first year of the pandemic?" So over it mentally these days, but here we are, again.

Nice to read your post, SiouxQ. How is it going without the business to operate? Are you back to being able physically with your wrists to create more jewelry to sell online. Not being nosy but interested since you first shared your move west and so on. I was trying to remember when that happened - was it 5 years ago?
The pandemic seems to have distorted the passing of time.

I spend too much time complaining on the rant thread so here’s a rave:

This morning I received an invitation to judge a flower show in April out of state. It is that state’s statewide flower show. That is cool. I probably won’t go because I can’t project ahead where Covid will be. But it’s nice to be invited.
