Probably I was subconsciously thinking of the little dog for my offer because who wants any dog to be homeless!

I like the old people in this condo building. There are several dogs, and some of the dogless people takes other people’s dogs for a walk. Now THAT is an act of kindness I could offer sincerely.

That sounds wonderful. but I'm still baffled by the rule that your husband isn't automatically allowed to stay in the unit.

Yeah, I was voted "Most Generous" in 8th grade, but I look like a damned stingy tightwad next to him. I refuse to compete.

That is not a condo rule, that is the local gubmnt’s “ occupancy permit “rule. One-size-fits-all doncha know. The square footage of 530 sq ft is the limiting factor, apparently.

I pay no attention to this rule and the condo association pays no attention to it either. Our condo president and his wife lived in one of the 530 sq ft. units for a few years before they moved to a bigger unit in our building. It was their weekend place, same as us.

This sq ft per person city rule may be a newish thing since our real estate agent-friend says he had not heard of it prior to our condo. The city inspector measures each dwelling as part of his work now.

This little sweetie showed up on my butterfly weed yesterday morning. Later on, I had an adult monarch enjoying my pollinator garden, and then a hummingbird enjoying the firecracker plant!

Yesterday DH relieved me of the ignoble act of planting ubiquitous orange daylilies because he said He’s going to take care of that big mound of dirt, it will go away. So yay!

A state rep from NH is trying to get me to move to his state. It feels good after all the rejection from my own city.

Morning I listen to this American life podcast about Croyden New Hampshire. The libertarian rabble rousers raised some rabble there, shaking up the standard order. The libertarian wing did not prevail, but they sure did make their presence known.

It was about a school board passing a budget.
