While he was in office, Cheney voted with Trump 93% of the time. I’m sure that if she managed to become president you would discover she was in fact a deadly threat to our way of life and resistance was a moral imperative.
Two things can be true at the same time, Cheney can generally suck, in fact suck in 1000 ways, and her losing solely because of her position on Trump (she didn't lose for other reasons, she just didn't) can be a very bad sign and disappointing in that sense. Both can be true.
