in the city I see many people wearing mask when out and about. I see grocery store clerks at one particular grocery store wear a masks. I don’t blame them because I probably would as well having to stand across a counter from hundreds of people every day. The grocery store clerks in Herman or in the nearby bigger city (not St. Louis) do not wear masks.

It is a mixed bag in my region.
I do blame them for lacking common sense.

    Masks don't stop airborne viruses.
Masks were never recommended for asymptomatic people especially until everyone freaked out about covid and wanted to do something, anything, even if it was ineffective. A few years ago it was a laughable idea. Fauci himself even chuckled at it.

My friend’s assisted living facility has a mask mandate just for visitors. Once I get to his apartment I can take it off. It’s no big deal.

Just because it's no big deal for you, don't generalize to other people.

Cream puff Triumph TR6 at the Hermann car show today. It is stunningly perfect and it is all original. I’ve never seen a TR6 like this.

That doesn't surprise me, but it makes me happy.

If you develop serious medical problems from the microplastic particles you inhale in your lungs, don't blame me.

For all you cat people, you will understand my happiness. I had a litter box right outside a bathroom for the last 2 years. The whole time, the cats would tracks bits of litter into the bathroom. While stepping on litter in bare feet isn't as painful as stepping on Legos, it's still something I want to avoid especially in the middle of the night when it's dark.

So yesterday I moved the litter box to the other side of the room but along the same wall. To further confuse the cats, I put something else where their litter box was. I watched as each cat noticed the change with great apprehension.

I am happy to report that the new placement of the box has been accepted and is being used.

we have cat litter dust tracks on everything, ugh. I forgot what having an active cat is like. Our last cat was very old and fat, snd she didnt get up on furniture. It is us who is adjusting to litter box change in our house.
