I have been telling customers left and right I will be on vacation next week so please get me needed paperwork asap. NO ONE has any urgency. I have one other coworker in my dept. very stressful when the other is out. People send me paperwork I’m not asking for, for shipments that arrive in January. I finally have been telling everyone that if you don’t get me what I need before I leave, we will not be responsible for any delays, port storage charges, etc. I was told by a customer to not be so alarmist. I give up. They’ll bellyache when their stuff isn’t cleared through customs but we have proof of many emails asking for needed paperwork.
