Okay--Guess what? A week or two ago, I encountered Mr Brown T out back, prowling around. He stopped what he was doing, but did not eat lunch. So, fast forward another week, and last week I opened the front door, and Brown T just walked right on in and had supper. He paid not attention to the house cats, and after dinner he sat on the kitchen window sill. Well, two of the house cats were VERY concerned, so I escorted him to the laundry room, and he sat on one o' the indoor-outdoor catses' bed. After awhile, I let him outside, and I haven't seen him all week. Makes me wonder. Thankk mee.

My dog has decided that when my tiny cat stares at him, that is a challenge worth fighting over. He rushes her. She screeches and either runs, or turns over on her back ready to fight him to the death.

Very disappointing. My favorite bulldogs of past years would never dream of being so stupid.

Maybe she's luring him in for the kill. One hopes she gets a good swipe in occasionally. They'll probably figure it out.

I am doing the planning of my enclosed backyard, which will; give the catts lots of room, but not allow them to roam & endanger themselves. I sound like a good Demmacrat, don't I? But no, my outdoor catts do risky things, like sit in the street. Yup. One o' the outdoor catts is an expert climber. Just yesterday, she demonstrated how she can go up a wooden privacy fence, and leap onto a roof. So yeah---the fence will need a barrier to keep them from going up and over and out. Quite a challenge. Good thing I am an architect. If UI can keep Huskeees in, catts should be doable, as well. Yup.

Maybe she's luring him in for the kill. One hopes she gets a good swipe in occasionally. They'll probably figure it out.

I think at this point they will always have an uneasy relationship. I wish she would scratch the hell out of him, but I’m not sure she has ever made contact. It takes a LOT to make big dumb bulldogs feel pain.

Okay---Another o' my indoor-outdoor catts is a bluwe-cream named Mommy. I've kept her here for almost 9 years. She has had an approach-avoidance complex the whole time I've had her, and probably that is the reason whoever had her abandoned her. You kids prollty know what Approach avoidance is, since you are all TV-certified psychologists. Ha. I kept her inside for the first 5 years, and she was VERY introverted. But see---I let here go outside, and her personality improved, greatly, though she's still stubborn. See? Well, frequently I have trouble getting her in at night, unless I lure here with a fresdh can o' food, even if she's already been fed, anbd there's dry food in the bowl inside. See? So, I finally go to sleep, and maybe gio out and get her in or try to. But yeah---today---at 7:30 am, it was raining and there she was on the front porch, all wet and messy. A poor old housecat, left out in the rain. What do the neighbors think? Yup. So yeah---littlebittyboby indutries is building the outdoor catt enclosuere, complete with catt shelters, so if they won't go inside, they at least have shelter, instead of sitting under a car or something. See? Hope thatt helps you kidds some. Projects like this are WHY I don't have time for recreational eating, sports events, concerts and all that other STUFF that 417(magazine)people do.

what are your thoughts about cat doors into garages?

Okay---cat doors. They might be okay in some situations, but see--we have a lot of wildlife around here and even though they are stoopid unfortunate creatures, I would not be surprised to find an opossum hiding inside. See--I hgad a O get in my garage, and it chewed up a $100 cable on my plasma cutter. Evidently, possum deduced that was keepuing it inside. Yup. But yeah--I prolly won't use one. Just rely on the outdoor shelters in the cat yard, and account for them, every day. That being said, you can opt for a cat door. But, i distrust those busy streets. And doggs.
