Ah, that's a good one, the stupid tax! I have to remember that much of the time I am so careful, and that making a mistake like that won't make or break me. I'm already trying to sell the almost new jar on Marketplace. Meanwhile, I wet my head down today and tried it again, making sure to use much less of the product than yesterday. It worked better and I have more curl today, so maybe it's just a matter of learning to use this better. It's still a several year supply, as I don't bother to do my hair on the days I don't work.

One mental method I use when I lose jewelry or something like that is I think about how happy it made the person who found it, like how I feel when I find something cool that it would be impossible to track down the owner of. Or I think about the item being sent out into the universe for someone else to enjoy. In this case, the hair product company is small and minority owned, so I'm trying to think about how my order helped their bottom line.

But it still rankles a little...
