I have Apple TV as part of my Apple One subscription and finally looked at it. There is a BBC documentary narrated by David Attenborough called “The Year the Earth Changed.” Fascinating. Looks into how nature and animals dealt with no travel/traffic during the first year of the pandemic. Huge improvement for them for the most part.

Don't remember if I've already mentioned this or not, so I apologize if I'm being repetitive. I've been watching As Time Goes By. My mil had given me her complete boxed set of dvds. I'm up to season five.

Ironically, my DD, DSIL and I got "hooked on" Painkiller, the Netflix limited series, and we spent all afternoon binge-watching all 5 episodes. I found it compelling of course, because of my involvement in the industry, but it was really well-done in general.

My husband loved that show and used to watch it all the time.

Been watching Bar Rescue, since I was changing channels and saw a late friend of mine on an episode. I knew they had filmed locally, knew about one of the bars (fighting twins, didn't last), but not that a late friend of mine filled in the kitchen of another bar.

Kind of wish there was a restaurant rescue as well, everyone has been saying i am doing great, but things don't stop (learned one of our main people is expecting to switch jobs in 30 days).

I was watching Bar Rescue just today! It was about an old artsy female musician who had no business sense whatsoever. I do like those shows. Have you ever watched either Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmare or Robert Irvine's Restaurant Impossible? I like Gordon Ramsey more than Robert Irvine, but the show concepts are nearly identical. I have always given restauranteurs a lot of credit--it's a really arduous business--all those hours, all the staff turnover, all that perishable food. I could never do it.

You can watch whole episodes on YouTube.

    Here's one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0b7Q...DWTiQf2nUcghJ2

But if you're going to watch one you have to watch this one: it's a classic. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FlYPkLRHeD4

okay----i been sitting here, watching old, old video clips of the philosopher, Sam Kinison, and his appearances on Tee-Vee and in Moo-Vees. He was VERY(x44444)brilliant at what he did. Unfortunately, in 1992, he was killed in an "accident" when a drunken driver hit his car head on, while Kinison was en route to Las Vegas to make an appearance. Yup.
