Tradd, you think it is worth paying for the non-free version? I use the free one and wonder about the advantages.

Well, you can connect your bank accounts so you don’t have to enter transactions manually. Plus you can budget per paycheck, if that matters to you. Those are the big ones.

Thanks, I prefer to put them in by hand for now, anyway. I guess I will think about it some more.

IL: It's funny, because a budget makes me feel like I am in control, especially when I adhere to it!

Well, I did not think about my comment carefully. I suppose if I were doing a budget, I could think of it as the directive for telling every dollar what to do.

see, I’ve never budgeted, ever. I’m one of those “budget ps don’t work” people. There’s a book with that title and there’s a contingent over on the Mr. money mustache forum that do not budget.

Like so many things in life, one size does not fit all.

Diving rebreather is finally sold. Payment has been received via PayPal and the $5100 is on the way to my bank account. I’m going to stash it in savings first. My biopsy is Tuesday and I want to make sure I don’t have any medical bills before I put it on credit card. I have a $6K deductible per year.
