It’s amazing that a high school teacher and longtime army national guard member whose big legislative achievements are paid family leave and food for school children is considered hard left.

I really liked both of those things, that he was a high school teacher and in the guard!

No snark in this, OK? Welcome to your citizenship. It truly is that bizarre. Rob

I was disappointed that Mark Kelly was not selected. He would have been great and Arizona could use some positive PR. But I will give this man a chance regardless. It's about staving off an Authoritarian Dictatorship that would make victims of us all. It's not about who Rob wants as VP. I understand this. Rob

Harris hasn't impressed me with her communication skills, so it could be interesting.
DJT is running scared - Kamala Harris is a former prosecutor AND did not the Supreme Court rule yesterday that DJT is to be sentenced for his 34
Felonies BEFORE the election. Lethal ammo in the hands of Kamala Harris. I pray she makes full use of it. Rob

I heard an interview with Mark Kelly’s twin astronaut brother on NPR a few days ago. He’s a cool guy. Both of them are super achievers

I gather he taught for a year on the Pine Ridge Reservation and lived for a year in China. Not that that would make him a good VP and he's not an astronaut, but it might make him a good person.

I guess time will tell though.

I was a little disappointed they didn't go with Kelly, but I understand them wanting strategically to keep him in the senate. I was not familiar with Walz, but I like everything I'm hearing about him so far.

Walz certainly appears to be a real deal Midwesterner and not one of those coastal elites. Used his GI bill to pay for college.

I read the BBC website for news daily. It was funny they had to keep saying he was an “American“ football coach.
