For some reason, I've gotten hooked on the Cormoran Strike novels by Robert Galbraith. The first 3 didn't do much for me, in fact, I found them a bit tedious, but about at 4, they started to get much more interesting and now, I'm waiting on tenterhooks for book 7, out in September.

Anyway, currently reading part of the Lonesome Dove series by Larry McMurtry. I've had the prequel on my shelf and recently started reading it. I don't always care for his works, but this one, Deadman's walk is pretty good. I have a bad tendency to just hold onto books I picked up somewhere until, maybe I read them. A bad habit. Very hoarder-ish. So, I'm glad, I can pack this one up when I finish it and take some others off the shelf to donate somewhere. Unfortunately, it makes me want to read the next one in the series.

You have me interested in reading it.

But on a lighter book-reading note, on CBS Sunday Morning there was an apparently very rare interview with Anne Tyler. I have always loved her books. Her 25th book, Three Days in June is coming out. I haven't read one of her books in a while, but I'm going to see if the library is planning on getting a copy.
I love Ann Tyler so I got on the waiting list at the library as soon as I saw Three Days was out. It was good, but more like a novella. I could identify with the main character in a certain way.
My therapist told me the way to achieve true inner peace is to finish what I start. So far today, I have finished two bags of M&Ms and a chocolate cake. I feel better already!

I haven't read much by Tyler, and I'm not sure why. I recently added Breathing Lessons to my list.

I read that in the last year. I still think of it from time to time. Highly recommend.

Original Sin, the book about the coverup of Biden’s descent into his dotage. I already knew a good bit of this, but seeing it in one place and in chronological order. Yikes.

I read it and made notes a few posts above yours. It’s pretty juicy.
