As a member of the local American Legion, I participated in the ceremony following the parade. Then went up and volunteered a couple hours at the Temple prepping for the arrival of our honorable monk. Too tired to cook, so frozen pizza. LOL

`okay----Beans. But yeah----the Railroad salvage and Sunken Ship Recovery & Bent-N-Dent Distressed Food sales place just down the street lowered my price on BEANS ta 44 cents a can, so i just hadta get two more cases! What a deal! Yup. The expiry date was 2023, but they don't taste too rotten---they got hot sauce in 'em, which helps.

I'm tired this evening, so I'm going to put a pork tenderloin in the oven, which is easy, but now I have to come up with easy sides.

Pan fried scallops in garlic butter, steamed local asparagus, coleslaw. I have various garden greens coming up to trim for salads and had the first garden green salad of the year for lunch.

I think I still have some tilapia in the freezer, as well as some fresh broccoli.

Homemade pizza! I tend to make more pizza crusts from my sourdough starter than I do bread. LOL
