    Hello,

I'm setting a goal of getting 100 things out of my house by July 22 (we'll be on vacation after that). I have gifts I've bought for people but not yet sent, clothes and other merchandise I've bought but which needs to be returned, and then just a lot of stuff that's been well-loved but which we need to let go of now. I started off by taking 16 items to Goodwill today!

Youngest got into the act and went through his closet. He doesn't have nearly as many clothes as his brother but he did find that he had 3 grey shirts that were exactly the same and 3 blue shirts that were the same. He decluttered two of each.

Definitely the tallest thing I have decluttered ever. A 6 foot cat tree. I noticed that my two cats weren't using it anymore and preferred the smaller one we had downstairs. I ended up buying the same one for upstairs and it's already a hit with the cats. Plus since it's half the size as the other one, it doesn't take up so much room in front of the sliding glass door and more light can come in.

Added more things and they are all decor related. I was rereading some former monthly purge threads on here and I had posted I wanted to go more minimal on my seasonal decor decorating. I have done a good job for Spring, Summer, and the 4th so far.

I was looking at photos of past seasonal decorating and realized there were some I am not in love with or thought it was too much.

    I ended up decluttering:
    2 Fall themed gnomes
    2 Christmas themed gnomes
1 St Patrick's Day themed gnome
    1 Thanksgiving themed gnome
The set of Fall tiered tray decor

If you knew me in real life, you would be shocked that I get rid of any seasonal decor, especially gnomes, but I am really liking the "less is more" concept lately and want to continue it.

Down with the gnomes! lol. They are a popular motif at Clay School, although I have never made one.

Was gifted with a brand new sewing machine that I never used (already have one I like), so I finally found a taker for it. It's now out of my house!
