Suggest grazing food for houseguest here for two weeks

We have a houseguest here for a couple of weeks. She will come and go as she is in town for rehearsals of musical theater performance.

We are not obligated to feed her, but she’s a young person with no money so I want to have SOME food around for her.

I will not have sit down meals with her because I don’t know what her schedule is.

I was thinking about having things like barbecue pork, chicken, salad, and cheeses that she could make sandwiches with.

    What would you suggest?

I’d ask her what she likes to eat and drink. Maybe she’s a vegan or veggie?

Otherwise what you suggested sounds good. Ask her about drinks. Maybe she prefers diet to regular or sparking water, etc.

UGG, drinks. I don’t think I’ll provide those. I mean, other than coffee. I know that she drinks coffee in the morning and likes cream with it because she stayed with us for a few days last year.

A case of sparking water or soda or whatever she likes isn’t an issue.

If she it in and out most of the time, maybe some grapes or apples - easy to grab and eat on the run type stuff.

Maybe just a small basket of assorted snacks, like nuts, chips, candy bars, Clif bar, and definitely just plain bottled water.

I remember when I worked in summer stock I lived in a boarding house and my hot plate was really important, but in this case, if she has access to a microwave, I think that will suffice.

the snack basket is a good idea. And yes, she has free kitchen privileges so she can do whatever she likes in or kitchen.

You have a lawn right? When I think of grazing, I think of farm animals and the lawn.
