okay----here's the catt that was a little tiny kitten living on the grounds that eluded capture for a month. I posted a photo of her about three years ago, when she was teeny-tiny. Well, a current photo(see photo); she is the rodent control specialist around here, and is highly effective. She is hyper-alert, and does not have a pushed-in face and frou-frou do; but is undercover dark grey, with a pointy face and sharp claws and fangs, that are the tools of her trade. Yup. She likes attention, too.
speaking of rodent control, there was a cat in the middle of our backyard some days ago and he had a look about him that he was hunting. Yet he was in the middle of the yard with no cover. He was looking down. I thought to myself “ that guy looks like he is mole hunting”
DH learned from my neighbor that she has a mole hunting cat, so I’m sure that’s who this was. I’m going to buy him a little can of Fancy Feast , wrap it up nicely as a present for him because I want to reward his excellent work.
Very different from the loungers pictured earlier today.

Love the shape of her face and her expression - beautiful!

see Bobby? Compare your cat with this oriental short hair. I think you’ve gone out and spent $800 on a retired show cat and you are not admitting it to us.Fess up Buttercup.

okay---yah---spent 800 on a catt. ha. yup, sure. But i do see the resembblance, there. Though, yeah---i kinda regret getting this catt spaded, 'cause being the disreputable breeder that i am, i coulda let her have a litter or two, ta get more high-energy mousers, like she is!! Even as hyperactive as that catt is, i woke up a week or two ago with that cat curled up under my arm. Awwwww, isn't that sweeeeet?
okay----ALL of my catts are SHOW CATTS. But, they are strays i have rehomed, here. But yeah---though nuna them are them kinda catts with the pushed-in faces and a pedigree, they all receive awards at my annual HBCC cattnational catt show. Yup. We do not have a "best in show" award; instead, we award the "Most Egalitarian" prize to the catt thats the most sociable with the others. How do you like that?
