Lawyer handling ownership thing has been spending time with brand new grandkid. got notification to him that I am on a time crunch (he is doing this Pro bono as friends with multiple of his family, business partner, and he and Tim used to be good friends).
Ownership and licensing updates need the paperwork.
Think I found the life insurance on Tim, so dealing with getting part of my money that was promised to me back, putting part of it in the emergency fund, and set up my life insurance that 20% of it goes towards to restaurants emergency fund. (the other 40% each, will pay off my nephew's house, and then almost half of my nieces house, move them forward)

That is so nice of you to help pay off your niece and nephew's houses, what a gift!

Purged an old netbook. Tried to bring it back to some degree of working but, alas, it was not to be. Did all the good stuff one is supposed to do before relinquishing a computer, and have it ready for the next electronics disposal.

I rehomed my spice rack, which was my proud woodworking project of 2020. It it not relevant in our current kitchen configuration, but a younger couple who lives nearby in a small, quirky home (not unlike ours) requested it, so I feel good about that.

I was able to pass on DH’s expensive Prince Charlie jacket to someone I know in the Scottish Saint Andrews Society. I waited months to hook up with them. They had their annual meeting at a bar near my St. Louis condo on a night that coincided with me being in the city. So yay! I got that off my to do list.

But unfortunately, a sack full of crap from garden club ladies came into my life yesterday, And after hearing the long and boring story about how these items were handmade specially for this occasion, I can’t callously throw them in the trash. But how can I give them away if they were made special for this occasion that everyone will recognize?? God, I hate this shit. Help.

When you go to your other abode, drop them off at a thrift store on the way. Someone else may appreciate and, if not, you are not the one who made the decision to discard. I’d stow them in my car trunk so as not to have to see them until release.

I do have a box for Goodwill so they will probably end up there. thing is, I hate to pile junk onto Goodwill because I’m a Goodwill shopper. I don’t know that anyone would want these little fussy decor items.

Oh, I forgot to report on this fabulous victory last week. To set the stage: (Sorry you know I cannot be non-wordy)

U til last week We had four ancient vehicles sitting around here that did not work:

    1. 1964 Vespa scooter
    2. 1979 Mercede Benz automobile
    3. 1956 Massey Ferguson Farm tractor
    4. 2020 riding mower

They all worry me, but the big tractor parked in our underground garage that does not work at all worried me so much because I couldn’t imagine how anyone is gonna haul that thing out of there. A miracle happened and it is now gone.

DH Found a buyer for it, a young guy who buys old tractors and he wanted it for parts. DH was able to pull the Non running tractor out of the underground garage with his existing 1956 ancient tractor. The new buyer had a winch and was able to pull the Tractor up the hill into his long truck bed. I suppose DH got some money for it, but I don’t care about that, I just wanted it gone.

A couple weeks before that DH finally figured out the problem with the old Vespa scooter and fixed it. It needed a new gas lineHe enjoys riding it around Hermann.

He’s now working with a transmission guy in a nearby town to put a new transmission into the Mercedes-Benz.

Maybe in a few months the only things remaining will be the old riding mower and I’m not worried about that because someone will want it. It won’t be hard to get rid of although DH thinks he hast to fix it first.

I realize the working vehicles will still be here, but they’re not clutter when they actually function in my book anyway.

here are two of the offending vehicles

Watched some interesting decluttering shows on Youtube. It caused me to get out my milk crate of wrapping stuff. Got rid of a bunch and got it down to two gift bags of wrapping items. Milk crate will go since it is ugly and does not have a lid. Stuff in it gets dusty and cannot be seen.

Small but one category of many.
