Those are some great ideas, il. I do like attempting to do origami and always swore I would do some tree decorations. Just have to remember for next year. LOL.

My only decoration other than a pretty Christmas card on the fridge… definitely minimalistic and I love it!

Beautiful, and two coffeepots--how wonderful!
Decided to make Penang Curry for our Christmas dinner...was thinking about a pot roast but given prices and the heaviness of that dish not appealing right now, decided on the lighter Penang Curry. May go for beef or chicken and a good assortment of vegetables...
peaceful, easy feeling
Well, I haven't taken it out of the bag yet - yes, "bag" - LOL, but I found a 4 foot artificial tree at Five Below. (keep laughing - I am! LOL) I have a feeling it is a Charlie Brown tree, which I'll be fine with. Intend to take it out soon and see how it looks all decorated. I figure - for $5 it's worth a shot.

I am calling my "Can I go minimal for Christmas " wish a raging success!! It is Christmas Day and I am not stressing to put away all the decor and chuck the tree outside. The house isn't overwhelming me but still feels festive. My husband did question not having more decor but didn't mind at all. Not even sure my two boys noticed. I don't miss any of the decor that was decluttered at all!!
