So Biondi asking for for welfare program records, voting records, and etc. certainly is “intimidating” to Minnesota bureaucrats if they have to do that work and respond to record requests. But isn’t that their job as beneficiaries of federal dollars? An overall audit doesn’t seem unreasonable to me, even though I have little faith useful data will come out of it.

I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Minnesota is lacking in how it carries out voter registration. My favorite illegal immigrant, Dr. Ian Roberts, was registered to vote in the state of Maryland where he had a job just a few years ago. No, Maryland is not one of those states that allows non-citizen voter registration for a few local elections. The news of his Iowa arrest created calls in the Maryland statehouse for proof of citizenship when voting.

The people unlawfully here have impact on our society, both negative and positive. I think Dr. Ian Roberts is an excellent case study because he would have a fair number of defenders including many on this board saying “well he didn’t really do anything bad so he should stay” but did he? Did he do bad things? I mean, obviously he has a felony charge that’s related to guns but beyond that ?
I've not kept up with the supposed Somali fraud, buy there are about 100,000 Somali in Minnesota and most of them were either born here or are naturalized citizens. I sort of doubt the majority were involved in illegal activities or are here illegally. No doubt some are guilty as charged.

In the days of government unthruths, a person has to consider the veracity of the source and the magnitude of the perpetrators influence..

"The sheer size of the Trump family’s total earnings from such profiteering creates a newhighwater mark for corruption. In July 2025, The New York Times estimated that cryptocurrencyventures had added as much as $7.1 billion to the Trump family’s total net worth."

I suspect there is much more to the grift.

I also listened to Mark Carney's speech. I cannot help but feel jealous of the Canadians for having an intelligent adult leading their country.
OMG Do I Ever Hear You!!! It is amazing how much more dignified the Canadian Head of State is. As an example, youtube has vIdeos of Mexican President Claudia Scheinbaum interacting with Mark Carney at the G7. It is almost otherwordly at this point to watch these two intelligent, educated, capable, and dignified heads of state interacting with one another. I miss this a little from the Obama years. Rob

I miss Obama AND Biden a lot! They were not perfect but believe they tried to make America great…. not like the current blowhard.

Conversely, if you use it conservatively you can display the container much longer.

This particular blend doesn't appeal to me, but we do buy all of our spices from Penzey's. They have good stuff.
