I say an elderly (American, no less) man in his underwear dragged out of his home in freezing temperatures ABDUCTED … which means to carry off by force or kidnap. You are the one believing propaganda. The meaning of gestapo is Secret State Police… The Gestapo was a powerful and feared organization responsible for suppressing dissent and enforcing the will of the Nazi leadership. This fits the current state of affairs now….. armed, masked thugs abusing citizens and invading homes at will, having “roving” ICE raids picking up any non-white they deem “suspicious” on sight. Reminiscent of Jews being rounded up by the Nazis.
I think it’s interesting that you and Tybee here are seeing the same videos and ICE pick ups that I am, the Hmong man and the boy in the blue bunny hat. I would’ve figured that you all saw a whole lot more, and different ones, based on your comments..
Anyway, the Hmong man was let go a couple hours later after due process. Or do you dispute that as well? Here is the AI summary:
ChongLy "Saly" Scott Thao, a Hmong American U.S. citizen wrongfully detained by ICE agents in St. Paul, Minnesota, on January 18, 2026, was kept in custody for approximately
one to two hours.
Key details regarding the duration of his detention:
- Duration: Agents held him for about an hour or two before returning him to his home after confirming his citizenship.
- Conditions: He was removed from his home in subfreezing weather wearing only shorts, Crocs, and a blanket.
- Circumstances: He was driven around in a federal vehicle, fingerprinted, and questioned while agents searched for two other individuals.
- Outcome: Agents realized they had detained the wrong person, released him without an apology, and left him at his home.
- Context: It was later confirmed that one of the targets ICE was searching for had been in state prison since 2024.
I don’t know why you would think Jews picked up in Nazi Germany got their due process and then were released after two hours. That opinion is silly and frankly, insulting, to those who suffered Holocaust horrors.
I'm going to exit this particular thread and wish everyone peace.
Think Tybee has the right idea.
I'm obviously out of the loop on 'the elderly Hmong man' as I've not seen or read anything about it other than here, but I am curious about "roving" ICE brigades rounding up non-white people indiscriminately. Where are they doing that? Are they doing it in Texas or Florida or Ohio or Kentucky or anywhere other than so called sanctuary states/cities who have refused to cooperate with Federal immigration officials? I don't think so. In the vast majority of jurisdictions, ICE works hand in hand with local law enforcement to pick up illegal aliens who have been arrested or served time in jail and are being released. In those jurisdictions ICE is informed of who, where and when illegal aliens who have broken other US laws will be available for pickup and processing so a relatively few number of ICE agents can go about their duty to pick up and process known criminal aliens at specific places and times.
When local officials bar law enforcement from cooperating with ICE, known criminals have to be found by ICE which requires visiting last known addresses and known hangouts in order to try and find them. Add a hostile environment of "mostly peaceful" disruptors to the mix and local law enforcement not being available (or allowed) to help secure the target areas and deal with the disruptive elements and ICE is forced to add additional personnel to protect their working perimeter. When ICE is forced to knock on doors looking for criminal aliens and their efforts uncover other aliens living in the country illegally, they tend to get picked up too. That probably wouldn't happen at all if local officials weren't hell-bent on virtue signaling their empathy at the expense of every questionable alien in their jurisdictions.
That's why previous administrations were able to set records for removals of illegal aliens since local officials weren't politically motivated to resist the Feds when their party was in charge. I suspect that all the perceived slights you and others fixate on would never be brought to your attention if TDS weren't such a disruptive force.

You are living in lala land, Alan. Your perception of what is going on is skewed. Even when told explicitly what is happening, you question the validity. You obviously are not keeping tabs of what is going on. I was in federal law enforcement for many years and find it abhorrent that this renegade band of goons is given any credence. Think what you will because you already made up the narrative in your head and, the reality is, there is no changing it.
Some time ago there was a regular poster here going by SteveinMn from the occupied/besieged war zone. Just wanted to check in and day I.miss his posts and hope he's OK. Rob
