So you made powdered curry from scratch or according to this recipe… If so, would you be so kind as to share?

So, this is the recipe... I followed it for the most part. I substituted a small amount of green chilis for the serrano pepper. I also mixed the curry spices together in a small ramekin before adding it to the pot because I wanted to blend in some British curry that DH likes. (It comes in a tin: https://www.teenytinyspice.com/certi...-curry-powder/

I served it on basmati rice.

    Here's the recipe: https://feedmephoebe.com/red-lentil-recipe/

It was really good! Perfect for leftovers, too!

I love the idea of Indian cooking but am below kindergarten level at it. I once kept up my seven Indian spices fairly fresh, but now they’re all pretty outdated and I don’t even know if I have all of them.

okay----i stopped at the Flaming Wok and ordered up a plate o' vegetable rice. No Chicken, no Pork, beef, no Possum or Groundhog. Just Broccoli. Yup. It was real good. Someday, when you kids want to just get out and DRIVE and DRIVE and DRIVE-n-Eat, you might stop a Flaming Wok. They are located just across the street from KFC. Yup. Hope that helps you some. Thankk mee.

Green Lentils, boiled spinach and feta with a hard boiled egg. It's a new recipe.
