I did do a bit of stocking up at home. Diesel price increases will affect the cost of goods.

Gas was down to $3.64 today. Sometimes I think Trump plays the markets like a yo-yo with his promises and fictions.

Tried ordering from produce company that I have used since we moved here. The prices have risen and now showing things out of stock.. Sure hope this is not a harbinger!

Tonight’s news…. Gas is up $1/gallon in 4 weeks. Diesel up $2/gallon. Largest increase in price in 30 years!

There is a station near home that has held at $3.64. The people on the news with big SUVs complaining about making ends meet at the gas stations brings back memories of not too long ago. Coffee in the bulk bins has been running around $20/pound and chocolate treats in the bulk bins is out of sight.

Ireland has been having demonstrations about fuel costs. They have blocked a couple of major roads into Dublin, with container trucks, tractors, vans and lorries. Meanwhile our Minister for Energy is steadfastly refusing to veer from his 0 Emissions policy by extracting more North Sea oil. Ho hum.

I’ve been paying C$2.04/liter this past week in BC.
