I assume based on the information in the link below that because you were born before 1983, you are not eligible? Is that right? Was your father American? Were your parents married? I'm not thrilled with Austrian immigration laws here, either, IL, but what can I do about it? And yes, it IS annoying that it's based on my father's citizenship status and not my mothers, but once again, what can I do? At least Ecuador seems more certain and is a better deal than the US AND SO does not have to deal with yet another language. Rob
