I loved my fridge that had an ice maker. That was 11 years ago. I have heard such horror stories about leaks I have never had one again. Maybe it's time.

I read somewhere that ice maker lines leaking was the #1 kind of insurance claim on households. Then I think jp1 corrected me? Dont remember, but that “fact” whether false or real is still lodged in my brain.
