You want to hear something just bats? In a manager in a dept of two? Me and one other person. There was a third person before I started in 2021, but they quit before I started and was never approved. We got called into a meeting yesterday and told that we have a third person in the dept. The owner hired this person and didn’t even give me any input or allow me to interview him. New dude starts today and my other coworker is off the rest of the week. Really bad timing. Thankfully it’s been a bit slower. He’s been in the industry for about 15 years but while he can do the customs stuff, I don’t know exactly what he can do.

Dude gives off massive Forrest Gump vibes, including short sleeved shirt buttoned up to the neck. Talks intelligently, though.
