I'm glad you agree, then. I suspect I didn't understand completely what you were saying. or it was incomplete.
I guess the bottom line I got from snopes is that Venezuela did not steal us oil and Trump lied about it, among other details. Maybe that's what you were getting at.

Okay, the only thing close to a question I saw in your post which I responded to was "From what I understand, congressional approval was required in this situation before action … which was not done. It is dubious if this action is even legal by some news sources? ". My reply had to do with that. If there was another question hidden somewhere, I'd be happy to discuss it.
