DH has the same mostly packed away in a closet and they are never used anymore. I have stopped asking him to do something with them. I know if he goes first, I will be scratching my head about how to deal with all of it. It is one of my great frustrations that DH refuses to deal with his sh--.

I’m not at all worried about what happens to all of my DH’s crap if he dies.

The main plan is: pull up one of those big industrial dumpsters. Hire grunts to carry it all out to the dumpster, and be done with it. I may pick out a few things that I think are worth some bucks and take them down to the auction house.

Done and done.

and yes, I may be leaving lots of money on the table, or more accurately in the dumpster.. so be it. I might signal the local shop teacher at the high school to come by and pick up stuff that he wants.

practically speaking I know it’s not gonna be that easy. We have a big farm tractor, an old one. Someone will want that. we have an old Mercedes-Benz that someone will want. So finding the titles and getting them signed over will be a PITA.
